22 Sentences that could calm a fight / argument

I found that a lot of young couple nowadays end their relationship because of a little argument. It could easily turn ugly if that small argument are not settled right away. So as I came across this article by Mutia Nugraheni, I thought I will share it. Hope it's useful.
Argument is relatively normal within any couple. The important thing is that how you could go through the process and come back to the relationship.
So, here is the 22 sentences that could calm a fight / argument:
  1. Try to understand my position
  2. Hold on, can I take it back?
  3. You don' have to finish it. I just need to talk to you
  4. This is very important for me, please listen to me
  5. I'm sorry, I've overacted
  6. I see, you're in a difficult position
  7. I can see my share in this
  8. I've never thought about it before
  9. I could be wrong
  10. we could agree and not agree on it
  11. This is not your problem, it's ours
  12. I felt disrespected
  13. We're out from the main problem
  14. You convinced me
  15. Please, continue to talk to me
  16. I realized this isn't your fault
  17. Thing just seems wrong sometimes
  18. Actually, what are we fighting for?
  19. How can I make things better?
  20. I'm sorry
  21. I love you
Theoretically, these seems to be working. But personally, I think it is better to have a clear communication, love and respect for each other.

God, are you there?

Sometimes I'm wondering if God really does hear my prayer.
That put me in constant disbelieving state. That's why I need to get it out of my head.

What must I do? I need to know that
1. God is in control
2. This is just not the right time (for what I'm praying for)
3. God has a better plan for me
With this three things in my mind, I could easily restore my faith with God.

Is there a time in your life, where everything around you started to crumble, falling apart? Yet when you pray, God doesn't seem to be answering your prayer?
This is the time where your faith is tested!
God's way of answering prayer are just so special. Things will not revert to how it supposed to be in an instant. But through people around us, ENCOURAGEMENT! Yet a lot of time we don't realize that it was all God's answer. So, the question is "Will we still believe and hold on?"

I've experienced it before. In the darkest moment of my life, I seek for an answer in every prayer I said. I didn't realize it has been answered. God sent people in my life, whom only speak of encouragement words, who has always been helpful. God is in control! I could almost always remember this whenever I'm facing difficulties of life. Because I know He's always there to hold the pieces of my life together.

Here is a story to share:
There is this couple walking in the rain with just an umbrella between them.
Then pass a motorcycle with a couple on it, so they say to each other, "how good it is to have a motorcycle, though they are caught in the rain but they reach home faster. But we must walk in tiredness."
An old car then pass through them also. So the couple on the motorcycle say to each other, "how good it is to have a car, we can go home without worry whether it will rain or not."
A Merc pass through them, so the couple in the old car say to each other, "if only we have a good car like that. We won't have back pain every time we go for a long ride. It must be comfy inside."
But the guy in the Merc saw the first couple that walk in the rain. He thought to himself, "if only my wife is still around with me, even though we walk in the rain, I will be the happiest person in the whole world."

Faith...

How great is our God... That's the worship we bring before The Lord today. And how true is that. Without Him, my world will be torn apart long time ago. Yet He is keeping all parts of my life together.

This week we learned about faith. Here is something to share:
Faith = key to winning, promotion and multiplication.
Indeed without faith it is impossible to please God `~ Heb 11:6. Everything that God plans for us need our faith to worked out well. Every blessings of God are released when we have faith.
But faith without work is dead ~ Jam 2:17. So what must we do? We must act out our faith. For faith draws us closer to God. Therefore closer to the plans that He had already thought long before us. That is the plan to prosper, for us to be successful in every aspect of our life.

Psalm 37 : 3 - 5
 3 Trust in the LORD and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Take delight in the LORD,
and He will give you the desires of your heart.
 5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in Him and He will do this:

Faith that works...

To start off...

Greeting all the way from my home sweet home.
What a great day it has been, packed but fun. Can't ask for more than that.
Today I got my brand new lappy. Even though I saved a lot, but I never have lacked in anything. For God indeed is my provider.
CNY just few weeks ago, but I can't deny how blessed I was. The good thing is the food, it's all about eating eating and eating... The better part is the "angpao"... Spending time with family is still the best part of all. =)

Not forgetting the devotion for today: "Humanizing Human" ~ Mt 22 : 39
When I red it I realize that sometimes, we do look at others only based on what we saw, what others said. But, we don't really know what they are thinking aren't we? Who would have thought that the Samaritan would be the one to help the robbed Jew. But that's how we should be! Helping those around us without having to first look at our differences. Only then we are worthy to be called a human.
